Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of TV. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father, in Columbus Ohio. Soon after she was moving to Texas to pursue her degree in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before moving to Florida, Orlando. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging from local independent films to international commercials. Even though she had small parts, the actress soon realized that she was drawn to acting. When she moved from New York, in 2001 she landed her first role as an actor in the show All My Children. Through the first half of 2000, her small parts were appearing on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men.
