Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of TV. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father, in Columbus Ohio. Soon after she was moving to Texas to pursue her degree in physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before moving to Florida, Orlando. In Orlando, she played many roles, ranging from local independent films to international commercials. Even though she had small parts, the actress soon realized that she was drawn to acting. When she moved from New York, in 2001 she landed her first role as an actor in the show All My Children. Through the first half of 2000, her small parts were appearing on JAG Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first role in a major series on the short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as a variety of top TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Milano. Her younger sister is Cory who is Italian by heritage. Her family was very traditional and spiritual one. Milano was able to begin her acting career at seven when her babysitter took her along to a stage audition. Four girls were selected from more than a thousand aspirants. Milano appeared in TV commercials and off Broadway shows, including the American first musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
